U.S. Army Specialist Ethan McCord tells the harrowing story of a day in the Iraq War that changed the trajectory of his life. Ten men, including two Reuters journalists, are gunned down by American attack helicopters, and when his unit is sent to the scene McCord discovers and helps rescue two wounded children. Nominated for an Oscar for Best Documentary Short, the film makes extensive use of the infamous "Collateral Murder" video recording released by WikiLeaks in 2010. A searing portrait of one soldier's crisis of conscience.
