In this innovative collaboration between indigenous and non-indigenous filmmakers, James Spione teamed up with Paiute journalist Myron Dewey, writer Floris White Bull, producer Doug Good Feather and fellow Oscar nominee Josh Fox to create a moving memoir of the historic standoff between militarized law enforcement and Native water protectors hoping to stop the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline project under the Missouri River.
